Here it is, the middle of June. We just got home from Homecoming at Apt Church. It was good to see old friends. We enjoyed the food and fellowship along with the singing. What a wonderful bunch of folks. It is funny how things change over time. This time last year, I was the Pastor at that Church and now we have gone to a different church and just became members there. I am scheduled to preach at Trinity Church (that’s were we just became members) on August 9th at the Sunday morning service. I am excited. I am excited what the Lord has in store for us in the rest of this year.
It’s that time of year where we get busy. The kids are out of school. Lexi is getting ready to go with her Daddy Aaron for a week. We are getting ready to take a trip to my In-Laws house for a 3 day weekend. I am sure that before school starts back that Michelle and the kids will go to Russellville again for a week. Michelle will be substitute teaching at the school hopefully when school starts back. I have the vacation time to take but really don’t think I will get the time to take it since we are short staffed but can’t hire anyone. I can save it up until next year I guess. Next year, we really need to make plans to go on a cruise for a vacation. I hear that it is wonderful.
